Registrations open from 14:00 at the Pear Orchard in Kaapschehoop on the 13th
Run starts at 17:30, all runners to reach the finish line before cut-off at 18:45 or risk turning into a Zombie!
Entry Fee:
Early bird (before 30 September 2023): R123 p/adult, R90 p/child
Thereafter R130 p/adult, R100p/child
(Entry fee covers the permit for the Blue Swallow reserve as well)
All entries to be made via the Ticketwiz link provided. Completion of the separate online entry form compulsory! No entrant will be permitted to run without accepting the online indemnity waiver. Pre-entries close on 10 October 2023 at 12pm (noon). Runners/ walkers can still enter on the day up until 5:15pm.
All funds raised will go towards the Mountain Goats Summit X initiative to promote our Eastern Escarpment mountainous regions
All participants are required to run with a head light and wear reflective gear or glow sticks/ glow-in the-dark bracelets
Look out for the zombies and ghosts (our race volunteers), who will point out the way.
No time keeping will take place as this is a fun run but runners will be required to finish within a certain time-frame
Medals of participation will be awarded to all who complete before cut-off, at 18:45.
Prizes will also be awarded to the winners.
Prize giving will take place at 19:00 sharp
Snacks and cold drinks will be on sale at the Pear Orchard before and after the run but participants are welcome to bring their own beverages
Venue will close at 20:00
Accommodation can be booked in Kaapschehoop Village via lekkeslaap.co.za, bookings.com, airbnb.com or kaapschehoopaccommodation.com for those who do not wish to travel back to Nelspruit.
