You may create any number of events by following the ‘Create Event’ button in the top menu after signing up for an account. Complete all the required fields and enter the tickets that your attendees need to select from when signing up for your event.
After creating your event you may edit and configure the event by following the ‘My Events’ link in the top menu and then selecting your event by clicking on the title. You may configure your event by selecting from the menu items listed under ‘Event setup’ of the event menu. The general steps for configuration of an event include:
Our pricing is based on a ‘pay as you go’ model, where you only pay a small fee on paid-up orders. No set-up, or monthly hosting fees apply.
For credit card payments. one needs a merchant account with a bank as well as an integration with a payment gateway. These fees can be expensive, but because of our transaction volumes we could negotiate a very favorable rate. See our pricing page for a breakdown of costs.
Electronic funds processed through our platform are transferred to your nominated account at monthly intervals before the event, but you can request earlier transfer if required. We subtract any fees from the amount transferred to your account and we provide a full breakdown. No transfer fees apply to back accounts in South Africa, but we may charge a fee for transferring to international bank accounts.
You may check-in attendees at your event by scanning their QR coded tickets using our mobile app. The app uses the mobile device’s built-in camera to scan tickets, but you can also connect a dedicated scanner which would be suited to scanning a large number of tickets. The app is available on the Google playstore.
Our app can work off-line and the scanned results are synced with our database when an internet connection becomes available. Attendees cannot be checked in more than once and a warning message will be displayed if a ticket has already been scanned.
Alternatively, you may also check-in attendees directly using a table in the back-office or print a list to check-in attendees manually.
